Managing Leads & Clients in Your Dashboard
Your dashboard is a powerful CRM to help you manage your book of business. Here’s how to use it effectively:
🔄 Lead & Client Organization
-
Leads to Close: This should be a small, focused list of leads you're actively trying to close.
-
All Clients: Move leads here when you're no longer pursuing them or once an engagement ends. You can tag them as active, keep warm, cold, lost, etc.
-
A note about the “lost” tag : Marking a client as “lost” is just for your own organization, it won’t impact your close rate.
📌 Helpful Features
-
Pin VIP Clients: Star/pin top clients to keep them front and center.
-
Set Reminders: Easily follow up with past leads or clients.
-
Tag Smart: Use client tags to instantly understand who’s active, warm, cold, or lost.
👥 Client Scenarios
-
Not the right fit?
Click “Help them find another expert” in the bottom-right corner of your conversation. This will pitch them back to the member network. (If you don’t see it, move them to “All Clients” first.)
-
Client unresponsive? Click “Move to All Clients”
-
Need help with a specific client?
Click “Actions → Get help with client” in the conversation to message HQ directly.
-
When hired:
The client will appear in Active Projects. After the project wraps, they’ll move to All Clients automatically.
This updated system gives you an accurate view of who you’re working with now, while making it easier to follow up with past clients and stay organized long-term.
