Weekly Lead Claim Amounts

Lead flow on Storetasker is determined by overall account performance and platform reliability. It is not controlled by a single factor, and there is no manual override or adjustment process behind the scenes.

Instead, our system continuously evaluates a range of signals across the entire member network and dynamically allocates which freelancers see and can introduce themselves to client leads.

Because of this, the number of leads available to you may change over time. This is expected and part of how the system keeps client–freelancer matches high quality.

Weekly Lead Introductions

Members may be able to claim between 0–10 leads per week, depending on how the dynamic system allocates opportunities at any given time.

Simply being shown a lead does not count against you. Only leads you actually claim use one of your weekly introductions.

Factors That Influence Lead Flow

Lead visibility is based on a combination of factors related to your performance, reliability, and expertise. These include:

Account performance

  • Close rate with clients (unresponsive clients are not counted against you)

  • Repeat client rate

  • Average value of past projects

  • Revenue outcomes

  • Client feedback or complaints

Professional reliability

  • Communication and responsiveness

  • Overall work quality

  • Adherence to Storetasker’s Terms of Service (including keeping all payments on platform)

Profile relevance

  • Listed skills

  • Tools you specialize in

  • Business problem expertise tags

  • Your past client history

These signals help the system determine which members are the best fit for incoming client requests.

Why Lead Availability Changes

You may notice that the number of leads you can introduce yourself to varies week to week. This is normal.

Our introduction system is intentionally dynamic. It continuously adjusts which members see which opportunities based on the factors above and overall marketplace demand.

Best Practices to Maintain Strong Visibility

To keep your account well positioned for lead flow:

  • Keep your profile, skills, and tool tags up to date

  • Respond promptly when clients reach out

  • Focus on strong communication and project outcomes

  • Maintain high-quality work and professional conduct

These practices help ensure the system continues surfacing relevant opportunities to you and positioning you for the best chance of success with Storetasker clients.
