Tagging and Notifications
Our new tagging and notification system helps you discover the projects that match your skills and interests—giving you a better chance to land work you’re most excited about.
If you focus on specific types of projects, you no longer need to scroll through the general queue. Notifications will highlight the projects that matter most to you. This also lets us create new categories—like UI Designers or E-Commerce Site Managers—without flooding you with irrelevant leads.
Why it matters: smarter matching means stronger, longer-term relationships with brands—and a better experience for you.
How It Works
When a new lead is submitted:
-
It can be tagged with specific skills and tools.
-
If the system thinks it’s a strong match for you, it appears at the top of your queue labeled “Suggested for You.”
This doesn’t restrict access to other leads—it simply highlights the ones that fit your expertise best.

Setting Up Notifications
-
Click your name in the bottom-left of your dashboard to open your profile.
-
Go to the “Skills” section and select:
-
Up to 3 preferred skills
-
Up to 5 preferred tools
-

4. Choose your notification method:
-
-
Dashboard notifications (default)
-
Slack, email, or text
-

You can customize notifications for each skill or tool. For example:
-
Receive a text alert for every Headless project.
-
Get Slack notifications for ReCharge or Bold projects.
How Leads Are Tagged
Leads can be tagged in three ways:
-
Automatically by the system (e.g., Builder, ReCharge)
-
Client-submitted tags, including skills, tools, timeline, and budget
-
HQ-tagged leads
When you open a lead, you’ll see all tags and understand why it was “Suggested for You.”
