Sharing Clients
Storetasker allows Experts to share clients with other experts when needed. This feature is designed to maintain seamless client experiences and ensure projects are matched with the right skill sets.
Why would I share a client with another expert?
Common scenarios include:

You realize you are not the right fit for a client but work closely with another expert who is.

Your client requires additional expertise, such as a marketer or designer, in addition to the work you are providing, and you have a working partnership with another member of the network
How do I share a client?

Open the client’s Brand Detail View.

Navigate to the About tab.

Scroll down to “Share Client With Another Expert?”

Search for the expert’s name and press Return/Enter to confirm.

Once successfully shared, you will see a confirmation message.


What happens after I share a client?

No automatic message is sent to the client. You should reach out to provide a warm handoff and introduce the new expert.

The expert you shared the client with will see the client under Clients > Alerts & Reminders, tagged as “Client Shared With You.”

We recommend the receiving expert contacts the client promptly to establish communication and introduce themselves.

Communication with the client during the handoff is essential, as Storetasker does not automatically notify clients of shared experts.

Both experts maintain access to the client’s details in the dashboard for seamless collaboration.
