Identity Verification & Background Checks
To maintain a trusted network for both members and clients, Storetasker requires identity verification for all members. In some cases, additional background checks may also be required.
These checks are part of maintaining a secure and professional marketplace.
Identity Verification
All members must complete identity verification as part of their account setup.

Important:
Identity verification must be completed before the system can:

Introduce you to client leads

Process cash outs
Verification typically takes only a few moments to complete.
Background Checks (Some Members)
Some members may also be asked to complete a background check.
This is required in certain circumstances to maintain network integrity and client trust.
If a background check is required for your account, you will be notified and it must be completed before the system can:

Introduce you to client leads

Process cash outs
Periodic Re-Verification
Members may occasionally be asked to re-verify their identity.
During this process:

New client introductions will be temporarily paused
-
Cash outs will be unavailable
Access will automatically resume once verification is completed.
Members Who Joined Before March 2026
If your account was created before March 2026, you completed an earlier verification process.
As of March 2026,:

Completing the new ID verification flow is not yet mandatory
-
However, it is strongly encouraged
Later in 2026, this new identity verification will be required for all members.
Completing it now helps avoid delays in:

Client introductions

Cash outs
