Discounts

Overview

Occasionally, Storetasker may run special promotions in partnership with other companies. These promotions may provide clients with discount codes.

As an Expert, you don’t need to take any additional steps when a client has a discount code—the system will automatically handle it.

How It Works

1. Send your quote as usual

   • Always enter the full project amount in your quote.

   • Example: You create a quote for $300.

2. Client sees the discount applied

   • When the client views the quote, they will see the original amount (strikethrough) and the discounted price.

   • Example: A 10% discount is applied → client sees $300 crossed out and $270 as the discounted total.

3. Client pays the discounted price

   • The client is charged the discounted amount (e.g., $270).

4. You are paid based on the full quote amount

   • Even though the client pays less, you still receive your share of the full $300.

Important Notes

• Storetasker does not issue general discount or promo codes.

• Any discount a client receives will have been set up in advance through their account.

• The system automatically manages discounts—no action is required from you.
