Bring Your Own Clients

Storetasker allows Experts to bring their own clients onto the platform. This feature lets you consolidate all your client work into one place while accessing the full set of Storetasker dashboard tools.

What is the Bring Your Own Clients feature?

The Bring Your Own Clients feature enables you to add clients you sourced outside of Storetasker (e.g., past relationships, referrals, or direct outreach). Once added, you can manage them in your Storetasker dashboard alongside clients from the lead queue.

These clients benefit from features such as:

  • Escrow payments for secure transactions.

  • Centralized contact management.

  • A Storetasker email and phone number for communication.

  • A single hub for all projects and client relationships.

What fees apply when I bring my own clients?

  • A reduced 3% admin fee applies to all Bring Your Own Client projects.

  • Standard payment processing fees still apply.

  • If the client is already a Storetasker customer, the reduced 3% admin fee will not apply.

How do I add my own client to Storetasker?

  1. Go to the Clients tab in your dashboard.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and select the option to add a new client.

  3. Enter your client’s details.

  4. Once added, you’ll see a note on their Brand page confirming the reduced fee and reminding you that you may charge any hourly or project rate you choose.

Who manages Bring Your Own Clients?

  • Since you sourced the client, you are the primary manager of the relationship.

  • Storetasker Support will play a reduced role in managing these clients compared to standard Storetasker-sourced leads.

Are there restrictions or limitations?

Yes. Please note:

  • Bring Your Own Clients cannot be used to circumvent standard Storetasker fees. Any misuse or violation of Storetasker’s Terms of Service may result in account action, including closure.

  • These clients are not eligible for discounts or partner referrals.

  • All billing for clients added to Storetasker must still go through the platform.
